Students Successfully Completed a Three-Month Internship at Scripttic
Ten IT students completed Scripttic's inaugural paid internship, building a functional chat application across backend and frontend tracks.
Scripttic concluded its first paid internship programme this month, and we are proud of every one of the ten students who took part.
The group split into two tracks: five students focused on backend development using Node.js, and five focused on frontend development with React. Under the mentorship of Ivan Marjanovic — supported by colleagues across the team — they built a functional chat application from scratch over three months.
More than technical skills
What stood out was not just the technical progress. The interns showed genuine cooperation, collegiality, and a willingness to help each other that went beyond what we expected from a group of students at the start of their careers.
For Scripttic, this programme was about more than finding junior talent — it was about giving something back to the next generation of developers. We hope to run it again, and we hope some of this cohort find their way back to us as they grow.
