Klett Gruppe is one of the largest educational publishers in the German-speaking world. They came to us to bring their traffic education materials into the digital age — not just PDFs on a screen, but genuinely interactive learning experiences.
The brief
The materials needed to work for students learning road safety: realistic traffic scenarios with animated vehicles, pedestrians, and hazards, paired with quiz mechanics that tested understanding in context. The animations needed to feel natural, not mechanical.
How we built it
We used GreenSock (GSAP) for all timeline-based animations — the library gave us the precision needed to choreograph complex traffic scenes with multiple moving elements. Source animations were produced in Adobe After Effects and then translated into code-driven equivalents that could respond to user interaction.
The result is a set of modules that feel engaging rather than instructional — which, in educational content, is most of the battle.
